AudioNova's Telehealth Options

Telehealth appointments are growing in popularity due to their safety & convenience. Patients are able to connect with hearing healthcare providers from the comfort of their own homes and AudioNova is proud to offer their full services remotely via Telehealth appointments.

What is Telehealth? How does it work?

Instead of coming into our clinic for your appointment, we can now conduct many appointments online. One of our licensed audiologists will call either your tablet, computer, or smartphone and you can take your appointment from the comfort of your couch. It requires very little technical knowledge on your part. You just need to have your audio and camera working. You can rest assured that your information is kept safe and secure as we comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Telehealth Benefits

First and foremost, telehealth allows you to comply with the social distancing guidelines that have been put in place. Even though nobody coming to our clinic is receiving COVID-19 care, we are only accepting emergency appointments right now.

It’s also a great experience for you because you can take appointments from your own home. You never have to worry about taking time off of work or finding other people to care for your kids.
If you’re an elderly person that needs assistance getting to a clinic, telehealth will eliminate the need for a caretaker. 

Our teleaudiology program also requires very little technical experience. Most calls can be done with HIPAA compliant video software such as Zoom and it can be done from a tablet, smartphone, or a computer.

Our Telehealth Solutions

Our teleaudiology program offers you general support, training, and counseling. We are also able to perform more sophisticated tasks such as fine-tuning fittings and settings with compatible hearing aids.  Here are some of the teleaudiology services we offer:

Remote Consultation - Speak with an audiologist or hearing care professional over the phone, tablet, or personal computer using audio and/or video. 

Remote Hearing Aid Fittings and Adjustments - We are now able to adjust your hearing aids from the comfort of your home. You can discuss in real-time which settings are most comfortable, which is particularly important for clients who are just starting with their hearing aids.

Telehealth Compatible Hearing Aid Trial - If you aren’t sure if a hearing aid is right for you, you are welcome to our free trial. Your hearing aid will be delivered directly to your door and an audiologist or hearing care expert will be in touch to help you learn how to use it and become comfortable with it.

Telehealth Equipment

As one of the leading telehealth providers for hearing loss, we take pride in creating solutions that are easy to use. For most of your meetings, you will just need a smartphone or tablet that can download the hearing aid’s corresponding app. You may also need to have a working microphone or camera if you wish to speak and see the audiologist you’re conversing with.
