This Privacy Policy explains how AudioNova, also operating under the name Connect Hearing, Inc.  ("AudioNova", “Connect Hearing”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information we obtain through https://wghearing.audionova.com or any other service, application or product[A1]  that links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service”).  This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into AudioNova's Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”).  By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. 

All of your protected health information maintained by AudioNova, including information you provide on the Service, is also subject to the Notice of Privacy Practices issued by AudioNova under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”).  In addition, the information you submit to request an appointment through the Service is also subject to our Consumer Communication Notice.  The Notice of Privacy Practices and Consumer Communications Notice contain additional provisions relating to the use and disclosure of your protected health information that go beyond the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide

We collect any information that you provide us when you use the Service, including when you request an appointment, take an online hearing test, signup for our newsletter, interact with our customer-support team, or otherwise access the Service.  For example, when you request an appointment through the Service we collect your first and last name, phone number, and email address.  

Information We Collect When You Use Our Service

We may automatically collect certain technical information from your computer or mobile device when you visit the Service.

Device Information. We receive information from your device, including IP address, web browser type, mobile operating system version, and unique device identifiers.  We may also collect and store your browser settings and preferences.

Usage Information. We receive information about your interactions with the Service, such as your interaction with certain features, the time spent on certain pages, the dates and times of your visits, and, if available, the address of the website you linked from.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If AudioNova is made aware that it has collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete this information.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that we may transfer your information to recipients in countries other than the country in which the information was originally collected, including the United States of America. Those countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our information practices or relevant laws. To inform you of any change, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and indicate at the bottom of this Privacy Policy when it was updated.
